Methmalee counts seven years of post qualifying experience in areas of financial analysis, credit rating, business valuations, corporate finance and strategy. She currently works as Manager – Business and Investment Analysis at a reputed conglomerate in Sri Lanka.

She is a CFA Charter Holder, an Associate Member of CA Sri Lanka, an ACCA Passed Finalist and a Graduate of Department of Accounting, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Milestones of her brilliant education path includes being a strategic level prize winner in CA Sri Lanka examinations and being ranked the sixth in the Island in her G.C.E. Advanced Level examination.

Methmalee is a former Women’s National Champion in Chess and represented Sri Lanka in many international events including four World Chess Olympiads. She is currently a member of National Selection Committee of Sri Lankan Chess.

She was also awarded the Silver for Finance Director of the year by Young Entrepreneurs Sri Lanka. Methmalee is an avid reader and writes her own blog. She also is a travel enthusiast and a photographer in the making.

Methmalee is passionate about lecturing and mentoring because she believes in giving back. She also served as the Asst. Treasurer of the CA Students Society and is currently a member of the Branding Committee of CA Sri Lanka.

She has a 5+ years of strong track record in lecturing for multiple professional qualifications in Corporate Finance, Strategic Management & Leadership, Business Value Creation, Strategic Management Accounting and Business Strategy & Risk Management. Her friendly approach with students is highly regarded as one of her best assets as a lecturer.
