Dilmi is a passionate Accounting academic professional who is currently employed as an Educator at a private sector university. She possesses several years of experience in financial and management accounting and reporting at several global conglomerates including MAS Group, where she provided services to global clients in the manufacturing, designing, export and technological industries. She also has experience in the Not-For-Profit sector where she rendered her professional services in a multi-million social project funded by the USAID.

She possesses a BSc Applied Accounting (Special) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) Sri Lanka with a First Class, Certificate in Professional Marketing at Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) (UK) and is currently awaiting results for Strategic Professional level final examination of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) (UK). Her academic research publications include a paper on Forensic Accounting in Sri Lanka published at the 3rd Research Symposium of Institute of Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka.

Dilmi is driven by her passion in sharing her knowledge and experience in the Accounting field with students and is a research enthusiast.
